The Grief Bubble - Helping Kids Explore and Understand Grief
The Grief Bubble is a special workbook for children ages 6 and older who have experienced death, injury, or loss in their lives. The interactive format invites them to find expression for their thoughts and feelings, encouraging the exploration of their grief. A useful tool for parents, counselors, educators and other caring adults supporting children in grief.
Writer and illustrator Kerry DeBay is a Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Trauma Specialist. Kerry has been working with children and their families for over 15 years - a significant focus has been supporting children and their caregivers faced with the terminal illness or death of a loved one. The concept of The Grief Bubble came from this work with grieving children. It developed as a way to illustrate and explain the phenomenon - grief – to the children were experiencing, helping to increase their understanding and awareness of their unique process, while normalizing their experience.
Someone I Love Died By Suicide
This newly revised edition of the book is designed for adult caregivers to read to surviving youngsters following a suicidal death. The story allows individuals an opportunity to recognize normal grieving symptoms and to identify various interventions to promote healthy ways of coping with the death of a special person. Although the language used in the book is simplistic enough to be read along with children and ultimately stimulating family discussion, it can be beneficial to all who have been tragically devastated by suicide. It is recommended for this book to be utilized in conjunction with therapy.
Doreen T. Cammarata, MS, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, currently counsels stroke victors and their families along with educating graduate students and professionals on grief counseling issues as an adjunct instructor at Florida Atlantic University & Hofstra University. As the President of The Grief & Bereavement Coalition of South Florida, formally the Palm Beach ADEC Chapter, she has organized enrichment seminars and networking opportunities for her fellow colleagues for over a decade. An equally important credential is that Doreen Cammarata is a suicide survivor.

Praise for La Burbuja del Duelo
Myers, Florida. Autor de Take Fun Seriously.
Doreen Cammarata, MS, LMHC, autor de Someone I Love Died by Suicide : A Story for Child Survivors and Those Who Care for Them.
Dee (Jashoda) Minuto, madre afligida.
